About Our Palm Oil
At Daabon, we believe that palm oil can be produced ethically, in a way that gives human beings the benefit of this amazing natural product without damaging the planet. We’re committed to empowering our farmers and workers and investing in long-term community development. Our programs for small farmers and commitment to fair wages and Fair Trade are essential to deep-rooted growth and prosperity in the communities where we operate.
We’ve set the highest standards in the industry for environmental protection, evident in our missions to only plant palms on previously deforested land, never clear forestland or plant on peat, and make sure to protect natural conservation areas for animals to live in. We also maintain a zero carbon footprint, primarily by investing millions of dollars in our own renewable energy sources.
We’re constantly looking for ways to go above and beyond existing third-party standards to make our palm oil even better for people and the planet.

1992
Daabon was the first palm oil producer to offer a USDA certified organic palm oil product.
2012
DAABON’s farms were the first organic palm oil farms to also become Rainforest Alliance Certified™.
2016
Daabon has the first (and only) Fair Trade USA certification in palm oil production.
2017
Daabon was the first company certified by the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) as an RSPO NEXT organization.
2023
Daabon is the first Palm oil producer to achieve Gold level for Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC™) in the world, and the first palm oil producer to be ROC™ in South America.
